Dr. Gabriela Alessandra da Cruz Galhardo Camargo, DDS, PHD graduated in 1998 from the University of Alfenas, Minas Gerais, Brazil with a degree in dentistry and University of Campinas (UNICAMP) where was Master of Science and PHD graduated in 2007. She is Professor of Periodontology at the Fluminense Federal University of Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil since 2009 and teaching students at Postgraduate Program of Dentistry. She is author of 32 publications and speaker in national and international conferences in periodontology. The main field of research is the etiology and pathogenesis of periodontal infections, especially in patients who present risk factors for periodontal diseases such as diabetes and smoking. Through the years most of the research was focused on the microbiological aspects of the periodontitis. It has been noticed that bacteria alone are not sufficient for the initiation of periodontal diseases, although they play an important part in the process. Host response, smoking, diabetes and other risk factors influence the appearance of the disease, and the susceptibility to advanced forms of periodontitis is genetically determined. Laboratory animal models also is focus of investigation, the etiopathogenesis of periodontal disease, are used to know the efficacy of therapeutic techniques including laser therapies prior to application in the human beings. Furthermore, she is researching the mechanisms of progress of periodontal diseases and wound healing at cellular and molecular levels at in vitro cell culture.She also provides instruction and clinical experience dealing with the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the periodontium in adults at Graduate Clinic. Dr. Mohammad Karimi is an active dentist in pediatric and cosmetic dentistry at Apple and Sepideh Dental Clinic in Iran while he has the position of head of pediatric dentistry department in both clinics. He received his B.S in Molecular Biology from the University of Kansas in 1989. After that, he got accepted in University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1989. After 3 years of studying, he had to transfer to Iran. He received his D.M.D degree at University of Shiraz School of Dentistry.
At the beginning of his career, he started practicing at his dental office. For more than 18 years, he is working as a technical manager at different dental clinics. He worked on a research entitled as” Application of a new mouthwash in perio patients" in which he compiled during one year spent in his office and dental clinics. His last work was on " Prevalence of types of dental abscesses in preschool and kindergarten patients referring to Apple Dental Clinic in Shiraz in 2015" Besides working as a technical manager, he has duties as Internal Auditor & Documentation in the management system in Apple dental clinic. He is interested in researches related to pediatric dentistry issues. So far he has published more than 25 articles mostly related to pediatric dentistry. He currently resides in Iran.Dr. Viren Shirish Patil has 3 years of working Experience.

Dr. Kingsley’s research focuses on oral cancer and oral epidemiology, as well as microbiology and virology in oral infectious disease. He has been funded by the American Cancer Society, had his work appear in more than fifty peer-reviewed publications, and presented his findings during nearly one hundred national and international conferences.
Dr. Kingsley earned his undergraduate degrees from New Mexico State University, and his master’s in public health and Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He completed postdoctoral work on hematological cancers at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.

Assoc. Prof. Dr Norhayati is actively involved in teaching restorative dentistry to the undergraduate and postgraduate students at USM, and is appointed as a Visiting Lecturer at two other dental faculties in Malaysia. She has also been invited as an external examiner to a few dental schools in Malaysia, assessing the undergraduate and postgraduates’ students. Dr. Dalenda Hadyaoui is mastering many clinical tasks in the field of fixed prosthodontics, esthetic dentistry, implantology at the academic hospital of the faculty in the departement of fixed prosthodontics. Dr. Said-Al-Naief is currently a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Laboratory at the Department of Integrated Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences at OHSU, School of Dentistry and School of Medicine and most recently served as a Professor & Chair, Department of Pathology and Radiology at OHSU SOD & SOM and as a director of the maxillofacial diagnostic pathology laboratory. He had also served as a Professor of Oral Diagnosis, Radiology and Pathology @ LLU School of Dentistry & as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda U. School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy & Pathology, Head & Neck Pathology, as an Associate Professor & Director of OMF Pathology Lab/ Oral Medicine at the U. of Pacific, in San Francisco CA. He began his medical career with a DDS from Marquette U., in Milwaukee, WI, where he also served as faculty for few years, then completed two residences in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology; the first at U. of Illinois at Chicago where he also obtained his M.S degree in Oral Biology at UIC graduate college & the second residency was in Long Island Jewish Medical Center / Albert Einstein Hospital. Dr. Said continued on and completed an advanced fellowship in Head and Neck /ENT Pathology in Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY, also attended a 2-year externship in General Pathology/Dermatopathology at U. of Illinois at Chicago and 2 months of additional training at the AFIP in Washington DC. He authored and co-authored numerous articles, manuscripts, abstracts, chapters and posters in various topics in head and neck pathology and 3 chapters in Maxillofacial / Head and Neck Pathology including the most recent WHO classification of head and neck tumors in 2016. He has been also invited to present numerous lectures, seminars, and continuing education courses nationally and internationally. He did and continues to actively participate in a wide range of basic and translational research related to head and neck pathology.Dr. Adel M Abdel-Azim, MDSC, PhD is the professor and former chairman of oral pathology in the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University. He also held the position of professor of oral pathology at the Faculty of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, KSA for 10 years. Additionally, he acted as a visiting professor in Glasgow and many other Arab countries. He has over 40 years of experience in teaching pathology, oral pathology, oral medicine and oral diagnosis for postgraduate, undergraduate dental students, dental assistants, and dental hygienists. Dr. Adel supervised many Master and Ph.D. theses and has a distinguished record of 25 publications in reputable academic journals all over the world.

Dr. Adel is interested and expert in using free open source software (FOSS) in scientific, medical and dental research. Starting from operating systems such as Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Manjaro, and Arch Linux and ending with ImageJ (an image analysis software) are all the major interests of Dr. Adel. He is expert in (1) free operating systems, (2) free graphics software (Inkscape, Gimp, Dia, FreePlane and FreeMind), (3) desktop publishing software (Scribus, LaTeX, and LyX), (4) free statical software (R, R-friends, Jamovi and JASP, (5) plotting, data analysis and scientific visualization software (QtiPlot and SciDAVis), (6) image analysis software (ImageJ and Fiji). These interests granted him the ability to master scientific books and article editing. He believes that “I am using FOSS, then I am free”. He started using commercial cousins such as (Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and SPSS) of this software then shifted completely into the FOSS.Dr. Trowbridge was born in Russia and immigrated to the US at the age of 17. She earned her dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2001. Shortly after dental school she moved to Arizona and established her North Scottsdale private general practice with focus in cosmetics. After 12 years of private practice Dr. Trowbridge transitioned into the field of teaching at Phoenix College Hygiene Program. In August of 2015 she joined Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine as an adjunct faculty and later that year accepted a full time assistant professor position.Dr. Neeharika Soorneedi is an experienced Assistant Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the Dental and medical practice at a reputed dental college. She is skilled in dentistry with specialization in Oral Pathology and Dental Materials centering on Oral Cancer and molecular Biology. He finished his master’s degree (2005), then a PhD degree (2010) from the same university. Currently, he is an associate professor specialized in dental biomaterials teachings and research. Also, he is a reviewer in Clinical Oral Investigation Journal from 2019 till now. He has a strong background in quality assurance and accreditation as being the director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura university. Also, he has a strong background in medical education and is expected to join an international fellowship for medical education and research (FAIMER Institute) 2021 patch.Dr. Cristiano Miranda de Araujo has a degree in Dentistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. He is also a master and doctor in Orthodontics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of undergraduate courses in Dentistry and the Master's and Doctoral program in Communication Disorders (PPGDIC) at Tuiuti University of Paraná. Professor of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics, Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. His main research field is focused on orthodontic-surgical treatment and dento-craniofacial deformities. In addition, they have extensive experience in research methodology, epidemiology, systematic review and meta-analysis.Professor Alexandre Mersel (DOB: February 21, 1936) is an educationist, researcher and specialist in Prosthodontics. He received his graduated from the Faculty of Odontology, University of Lyon, France in 1961 and specialized in Prosthodontics, at the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in 1979. With respect to his career, he has been Associate Professor at the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine since 1992 and also Director of Complete Dentures Prosthodontics and Gerodontics studies (1978-1998) and Head Department of Removable Prosthodontics and Gerodontics at the Haifa Institute for Dental Advanced Studies (1986-1987). He also acted as consultant to the Prime Minister's commission of Public Health (1982) and Director of Dental Health Services Municipality of Jerusalem (1986-1988). He was also founder and Chairman of the European College of Gerodontology (1994), Convener and Chairman FDI Section of Gerodontology (1997-1999) and Director FDI for the Europe Continuing Education Program (2013-2018). He was awarded Research fellow Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute of Jerusalem (1981) and The City of Paris Silver Medal (1986).

The scientific focus of Dr. Çaliskan is pediatric dentistry and clinical studies.Dr. Renan Langie is Graduated in Dentistry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) (2007). He was intern in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at the Dental School (UFRGS) (2008) and received a CAPES scholarship as a Master's Student in Dentistry / OMFS (UFRGS) (2012). Specialist in OMFS by the Federal Council of Dentistry (CFO) (2013). Dr. Langie was trainned in clinical research at the Harvard Medical School - PPCR (2013). He holds a PhD degree in Dentistry / OMFS (UFRGS), when he worked in collaboration with the University Hospital (HCPA). He was a PhD research fellow (CAPES-12 months) at Heinrich-Heine Universität Düsseldorf (HHU) and worked at the Klinik für Mund-, Kiefer- und Plastische Gesichtschirurgie / Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf as a Fellow (visiting surgeon). He was a graduate student at Medizinische Fakultät at the HHU for 3 semesters. Dr. Langie develops OMSF research topics with the group of professors from the Dental School at the UFRGS and colleagues from the Klinik für MKG at the UKD. He has habilitation in Hospital Dentistry (CFO) (2017). Dr. Langie is a Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Puricelli Institute and is part of the clinical staff at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital in Porto Alegre (HMV) and at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre (SCMPA). He is Vice Coordinator of the Pediatric Research Ethics Committee (CEP) at the Hospital da Criança Santo Antônio (HCSA/SCMPA). Dr. Langie is also Professor of the Specialization Program in OMFS at the (SCMPA/IMED), Residence Program in OMFS from the Dental School (HCPA/UFRGS), and of the Graduation Program in Speech Therapy from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA). He coordinates the Pediatric OMFS outpatient clinic at the HSCA. Dr. Langie is a Collaborate Professor for the Master and PhD Program in Pediatrics at the UFCSPA.
